About Hydrosol

Maybe its your first time seeing the word hydrosol or you just need a refresh. Hydrosol is the product of plants, water & heat. We add plants with fresh spring water to our still. Once everything has been soaked for the right amount of time we boil at 101.5 °C or 214.7 °F to be exact. The result from this process is a divine amalgamation of plant essence and water.

The distillation process takes all the water soluble essence of the plant and combines them to produce a redolent solution called Hydrosol. This is a pure distillate meaning no synthetic products are contaminating it. What you smell is 100% real nature.

Uses and Methods

Toner

Can be used straight out of the bottle or diluted for use as a toner.

Setting Spray

Mix with a small amount of glycerin for us a setting spray

Room Fragrance

Add directly or diluted to a diffuser or just spray around the room.

Face Mist

Store in your fridge or keep on your person for a light refresh.

We use nothing but untouched Balsam Fir. We have a plot of forested land in a sparsely populated area of Nova Scotia. Everything is picked by hand and our only ingredients are: Spring Water & Organic-by-nature Balsam Fir

Yup. We maintain transparency, so all products are shipped with internationally valid tracking codes.

8. When will I receive the tracking number after my purchase?

We make our batches fresh. Sometimes so fresh the oil hasn't had time to full release from the oil and the Hydrosol is a milky colour also known as Hydrolat. We aim to ship orders as soon as possible (within 2-3 days).
